1.07 million-subscriber YouTuber Summer in New York has announced her divorce from her husband, Dominic.
Summer in New York, better known as SummerSummer, shared the news via her YouTube channel community on March 31st, stating, “Dominic and I, who have been together for a long time, have decided to end our journey as a couple after much deliberation.”
She explained, “Although the legal separation was completed some time ago, the relationship we shared as best friends and partners and the time and precious memories we built together, could not be easily resolved with a single document. Thus, time has passed as we made efforts to reconcile and then distanced ourselves again.”
Summer in New York continued, “We needed time to make this careful decision and to gather our thoughts. We were unable to inform you, our close friends and family, during that process. I was grateful for your support and trust, even as you wondered in the comments or noticed the changes, and I apologize for not being able to tell you sooner.”
She added, “We are now calmly conveying our decision to you after much time and long consideration. While our journey as a couple ends here, I would be grateful if you would continue to support Dominic, who is the father of our cats Tuna and Butter, and a precious person in my life.”
Notably, Summer in New York emphasized, “I will also do my best in my own position. As this is a decision we both made after long consideration to become healthier and happier in our individual lives, not due to any specific incident or fault of anyone, please refrain from excessive speculation and respect our choice and process.”
