The 2015 crime action film Inside Men, which drew 7.07 million viewers and was the highest-grossing R-rated film in Korea at the time, is being remade into a three-part film series.

The original Inside Men was a huge hit, taking home major awards such as Best Picture and Best Actor (played by Lee Byung Hun) at the Blue Dragon Film Awards. Now, the new version will be directed by Kim Min Beom and Kim Jin Seok, with Lee Ki Cheol writing the screenplay. It promises an engaging story with fast-paced development.

Filming for Parts 1 and 2 will begin this year, with Part 3 filming scheduled for next year. Production is set to start in the first half of 2026.

The film is being produced by Hive Media Corp, known for impactful films like 12.12: The Day and Harbin, with SLL, the studio behind The Roundup and All of Us Are Dead, co-producing.

Inside Men is based on a webtoon by Yoon Tae Ho of Misaeng and Moss and explores corruption within South Korean society. The original film starred Lee Byung Hun, Cho Seung Woo and Baek Yoon Sik.

Ju Ji Hoon was originally set to star in the Inside Men drama remake but chose instead to appear in the drama Viking (literal title), which centers on a power struggle within a wealthy Korean family. Ju Ji Hoon will play Han Tae Jun, a man who will do anything for power and success.
