BIGBANG is set to celebrate a major milestone with the support of YG.

YG Entertainment confirmed on March 4th that the group will mark its 20th debut anniversary with a global tour in 2026, continuing its long partnership with the agency.

The announcement came through a video titled “2026 YG PLAN | YG ANNOUNCEMENT” posted on the company’s official blog, where executive producer Yang Hyun Suk shared updates on YG’s upcoming projects.

Yang revealed that YG and the BIGBANG members have already agreed to hold concerts together this year. The tour will commemorate the group’s two decades in music and their lasting influence on the K-pop industry. “Because we’ve worked together for such a long time, I don’t think there will be many difficulties,” Yang said. “All of the YG staff will do their best to create a perfect performance.”

While the full lineup has not been confirmed, the shows are widely expected to feature G-Dragon, Taeyang and Daesung.

BIGBANG’s return comes as YG prepares a busy year for its artists.

BABYMONSTER will release a mini album in May followed by a second full-length album this fall. The mini album’s title track is “CHOOM,” and the group will launch a larger world tour beginning in June across South America, Europe and Oceania.

TREASURE will also kick off a new era with a mini album in June that highlights a stronger hip-hop direction. The group’s subunit T5 is expected to return, while rappers Choi Hyun Suk, Haruto and Yoshi will debut as a unit called “Hyun.Ha.Yo.”

YG is also preparing a new boy group for a potential fall debut and will soon reveal the remaining members of its upcoming girl group currently known as “Next Monster,” following trainees Evelli and Chanya.

The plans arrive as YG celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, with Yang promising more music and updates for fans throughout 2026.
