Former U-KISS member Dongho and his ex-wife are locked in an escalating public dispute, with both sides trading serious allegations and signaling an upcoming legal battle.
On February 25th, Dongho’s ex-wife, identified as A, took to social media to share claims about their marriage, alleging that his repeated infidelity was the primary reason for their divorce. She claimed that during her pregnancy, Dongho continued to send messages to other women and said he had relationships with multiple women during their marriage.
A also accused Dongho of failing to pay child support after their divorce and of showing a lack of responsibility during visits with their son. She said he gave expensive gifts to other women while neglecting his responsibilities as a father, describing the challenges she faced raising their child on her own. She even suggested releasing a list of additional names tied to alleged involvement in prostitution, further intensifying the controversy.
Dongho responded the following day through his own account, strongly denying the accusations. He rejected all claims of infidelity, unpaid child support and abuse, and said he plans to file criminal complaints for defamation and the spread of false information.
“I’m now an ordinary citizen who left the entertainment industry nearly 10 years ago, so I’m not afraid of public attention or headlines,” he said, signaling his intention to address the matter head-on.
He also claimed that even A’s own mother had once arranged for her to be involuntarily admitted to a psychiatric hospital out of concern for her condition, arguing that her current accusations stem from emotional instability and are not based in fact. Dongho further raised questions about large sums of money he says A received from a past partner and suggested her home finances should be subject to a tax investigation, adding, “I warned you enough. You’re the one who crossed the line.”
As both sides continue to stand firm, the dispute appears to be heading toward a full legal confrontation.
Dongho debuted with U-KISS in 2008 and gained popularity before leaving the group in 2013 and stepping away from the entertainment industry. He married in 2015 and welcomed a son, and has been living as a private citizen since his divorce in 2018.
