Kim Do Hoon is addressing a viral moment involving aespa’s Karina.
The actor attended the press conference for the Netflix show Agents of Mystery 2 on February 19th alongside Lee Yong Jin, John Park, Hyeri, Karina and Gebee. During a group photo, the cast held hands to form a large star shape, creating a lighthearted moment onstage.
After footage from the event spread online, some viewers questioned Kim Do Hoon’s behavior, claiming he appeared to be excessively touching Karina’s hand while holding hands with her and Gabee.
One fan later sent him a message on the paid fan communication platform Bubble on the 21st that read, “Don’t touch Karina.” Kim Do Hoon responded, “I didn’t touch her hand. I scratched my own finger. It was itchy.”
Following his explanation, many viewers revisited the clip and commented that the moment appeared to be a misunderstanding. Reactions included comments like “He was touching his own hand,” “It looks like we misunderstood,” and “There’s no way he would be rubbing someone’s hand like that in a public setting.”
Agents of Mystery 2 is set to premiere on February 27th.
