Kim Seon Ho’s agency has addressed the controversy surrounding his use of a one-person corporation and tax evasion claims.

The agency released a statement on February 4th explaining the timeline and purpose of the company. They clarified that Kim Seon Ho set up the corporation in January 2024 for his acting and theater work. He only received payments through it for activities before signing his new contract with SALT in February 2025.

To address concerns that the company was a tax shelter, the agency confirmed that Kim closed it down voluntarily. “Kim Seon Ho realized the corporation could be misunderstood,” the statement said. “So, it stopped operations, and no real business has been done through it for over a year.”

The agency emphasized that since his new contract, Kim has received all payments directly as an actor, with no connection to the corporation. They also mentioned that Kim has returned all corporate benefits, such as family allowances and company vehicles, and repaid any corporate card expenses.

Finally, the agency confirmed that Kim has paid extra personal income tax on the money previously handled by the corporation to avoid any tax issues. The company is in the process of closing down, with final paperwork expected soon.
