BTS has officially kicked off comeback buzz by revealing the title of their next album.

On Friday, the group announced via the global fan platform Weverse that their fifth full-length album will be titled ARIRANG. The name draws from “Arirang,” one of Korea’s most iconic folk songs, signaling a return to the group’s roots.

The title reflects BTS’ core identity and the emotions they want to share with fans. Marking their first comeback in three years and nine months, the group chose to look inward—reconnecting with where they began and what defines them as a team.

ARIRANG also represents the emotional tone of the new album. By spotlighting their origins as a group that emerged from Korea, BTS aims to weave themes of longing and deep affection into the record. Since debut, the group has been known for music shaped by the members’ personal experiences and honest reflections, and this time, they lean into longing as a shared, universal feeling.

Alongside the album announcement, BTS confirmed plans to reunite with fans worldwide through a global tour bearing the same name. The ARIRANG world tour is set to kick off April 9th at Goyang Sports Complex before heading overseas.
