Singer and actress IU became the ultimate Santa this Christmas. She surprised the entire cast and crew of her new drama with premium gifts.
Actress Lee Yeon showed off the present on social media on December 24th. She tagged IU and wrote, “You are the best Santa, CEO.”
The photo showed a shopping bag containing a high-end speaker from Marshall. IU attached a personalized tag to the gift.
The message read: “To our Perfect Crown team, let’s keep going strong!! Merry Christmas.”
IU also added a custom sticker to the packaging. It featured her photo and a cute Christmas tree illustration.
Fans were quick to notice the value of the gift. The Bluetooth speaker model retails for approximately 500,000 won ($360). Many admired her generosity in giving such a high-value item to the entire staff.
IU is currently filming Perfect Crown. It is a romance set in a fictional modern-day South Korea under a constitutional monarchy. She stars as a wealthy heiress alongside Byeon Woo Seok.
The drama is scheduled to premiere next April on MBC.
