BTS Members V, Jimin and Jungkook Hold $14.6 Million in HYBE Stock

BTS members V, Jimin and Jungkook have been named among the Top 100 Stock-Rich People Under 30 from listed companies, each holding 68,385 shares of HYBE stock.

Corporate data research institute CEO Score released its analysis of individual shareholders’ stock holdings and values in listed companies on December 24th, based on figures from the end of last year and up to the 19th of this month. Consequently, V, Jimin and Jungkook each hold shares valued at 21.4 billion won, placing them in a tie for 28th.

The three members each possess 68,385 shares of HYBE stock. Their holdings, valued at 13.2 billion won ($9 million) last year, increased by 8.2 billion won ($5.6 million) this year, soaring to 21.4 billion won ($14.6 million).

These shares originated from a uniform donation made by HYBE Chairman Bang Si Hyuk to all seven BTS members prior to HYBE’s IPO in 2020, distributing 478,695 common shares equally, with each member receiving 68,385 shares. Subsequently, some members adjusted their holdings. While Jin, J-Hope, and RM divested some of their shares through market sales in 2021, V, Jimin, and Jungkook have reportedly maintained their originally gifted shares.

As of the 19th of this month, Suga, Jimin, V, and Jungkook each held an identical 68,385 shares, valued at 21.4 billion won. J-Hope‘s holdings were recorded at 62,784 shares (19.7 billion won or $13.4 million), RM‘s at 58,000 shares (18.2 billion won or $12.4 million), and Jin‘s at 52,385 shares (16.4 billion won or $11.2 million).

BTS is currently preparing for a full group comeback next spring, concluding their hiatus due to mandatory military service.
