Lee Chae Min, who recently surged to stardom with his role in the hit drama Bon Appétit, Your Majesty, has unexpectedly canceled the remaining stops of his first Asia fan meeting tour.
Organizers in Taiwan announced through official channels that the event had been called off due to “unforeseen circumstances.” This follows the cancellation of his Hong Kong fan meeting for the same reason, effectively bringing the second half of his tour to a halt. While the specific reasons were initially kept vague, it was later clarified that the Hong Kong event was canceled due to a tragic fire in the city. However, the reason for the Taiwan cancellation remains unclear.

Lee Chae Min embarked on his ‘2025 LEE CHAE MIN FANMEETING TOUR -Chaem-into you’ to connect with international fans for the first time since his debut. The tour kicked off successfully with stops in Seoul on October 24th and 25th, followed by Jakarta on November 15th, Manila on November 23rd, and Bangkok on December 6th.
However, the subsequent shows, scheduled for December 14th at MacPherson Stadium in Hong Kong and January 4th, 2026, at the NTU Sports Center in Taipei, have been canceled one after another.
The sudden cancellations have sparked intense speculation among fans online.
Comments ranged from “Maybe tickets aren’t selling” and “Is this because of the ban on Korean culture?” to criticism of venue choices: “Did they book venues that were too big?” and “The drama was popular, but the actor isn’t famous enough yet.” Some even questioned the demand, writing, “I haven’t even watched Bon Appétit, Your Majesty and don’t know Lee Chae Min well—did they just miscalculate the demand?”
