
Former MBLAQ member Mir is getting married.
Sports Chosun reported Mir, also known as Bang Cheol Yong, will hold his wedding ceremony on December 21st at 5:30 PM at a venue in Gyeonggi Province. His bride-to-be is a non-celebrity who is one year older than him. The couple is reportedly tying the knot after building a relationship based on long-term trust and faith.
The news has been warmly received by Mir’s family, particularly by the cast of his popular YouTube channel. The channel, which features his older sister Go Eun Ah and eldest sister Bang Hyo Jin, has garnered over 700,000 subscribers for its hilarious and relatable family chemistry. Reports say the entire family is genuinely excited to welcome the new member.
With this announcement, Mir becomes the third MBLAQ member to marry. Fellow member G.O married actress Choi Ye Seul in September 2019, and former member Thunder tied the knot with former Gugudan member Mimi in May of last year.
Mir debuted with MBLAQ in October 2009, delivering hits like “Y,” “Mona Lisa,” and “This Is War.” Since 2020, he has found a second wave of popularity as a YouTuber, showcasing his family’s chaotic and heartwarming daily life.
