Lee Yi Kyung is facing renewed controversy after the same woman who first accused him of inappropriate online messages released another set of alleged DMs—this time including more explicit lines.
On December 12th, the woman, identified as A, posted a message on her social media saying, “For anyone who still thinks this is AI, raise your hand. This is really the last one. If this is real, then the rest of the KakaoTalk messages are real too. I’m embarrassed, but I have no choice.” She also uploaded a video containing what she claims is their DM exchanges.
According to the screenshots, A first messaged Lee Yi Kyung on January 26th, 2024, telling him he was her ideal type and asking whether he was okay with foreigners. Lee Yi Kyung allegedly replied, “Your Korean is really good. Which country are you in?” A responded that she was German and living in Germany.

The newly released messages included more explicit comments attributed to Lee Yi Kyung, such as:
“It’s crazy that our conversation got this far just from talking about your chest.”
“What size are you?”
“E-cup?”
“I’ve never seen one in my life.”
These lines immediately heightened the public discussion surrounding the scandal.
A has previously posted screenshots she said were from Lee Yi Kyung, claiming they exchanged inappropriate messages. Lee Yi Kyung has repeatedly denied all allegations, calling them fabricated and “completely untrue,” and has declared he will take strong legal action.
He has already filed a formal police complaint requesting an investigation into A. The controversy has also impacted his career: the actor stepped down from Hangout With Yoo, and his planned appearance on The Return of Superman has been canceled.
