EXO’s Do Kyung Soo, aka D.O., is opening up about the disappointment of missing the wedding of one of his closest friends—actor Kim Woo Bin—and his longtime partner Shin Mina.
During an interview held on the 11th for his Disney Plus series The Manipulated, Do Kyung Soo shared that he won’t be able to attend the couple’s December 20th ceremony. EXO was confirmed to appear at the 2025 Melon Music Awards on the same day, leaving him no way to be there for Woo Bin.
“It’s such a shame,” he admitted. “But EXO has to come first, that’s just how it is.”
Do Kyung Soo revealed that he knew about Woo Bin’s wedding plans early on—and had even agreed to sing at the ceremony. “I was gonna sing them a congratulatory song,” he said. “But the wedding and the MMA ended up overlapping. I even tried simulating the travel route between the two. But EXO is performing right when the wedding is happening. There was no way. I’m really, really sad about it.”
He added that he has been apologizing nonstop: “I really feel guilty. I keep telling him how bad I feel, but he understands completely.”
Though he can’t be there in person, Do Kyung Soo said he’s thinking hard about what meaningful gift or gesture he can offer his friend as he enters this new chapter of his life.

Do Kyung Soo’s chilling, merciless performance—his first villain role—has earned strong praise for presenting a fresh, unsettling kind of antagonist.
