Ready to vibe out to a new musical style? WUZO Entertainment boy group BLITZERS made their debut in May 2021, with CHECK-IN, BLITZERS’ first EP Album, and have continued to impress fans with various hits such as “Macarena” and “SUPERPOWER.”
Now, members JUHAN, WOOJU, and SYA have taken on a new form as a sub-unit group, NPC! The announcement had BLEE, fans of BLITZERS, eager to hear the kind of music these three members would make. With a trendy sound and style to match, NPC released “Creeper” and met with ZAPZEE to share fun stories about their music process and creating an energetic song for fans.
Q. Tell us about the new sub-unit NPC. How did you create the new name and concept for this group?
JUHAN: NPC, which means “Noise pollution club,” represents our various areas of art, and it contains the desire to make our music our own sound.
Q. The group filmed many reels to promote their new song “Creeper.” Which reel was the most fun to make?
JUHAN: I think the most recently uploaded Creeper Special Clip was the most fun to create for promotions. When I made the video, it felt like it was the best video I had ever made.
Q. Is the song “Creeper” related to the popular game Minecraft? What was the inspiration for the title and lyrics?
WOOJU: I thought Minecraft would come to mind first in the title, so I wanted to express my feelings with that emotion and style in mind for the track.
Q. Are there any unexpected difficulties when forming a sub-unit group? What was an enjoyable experience NPC can share with fans?
WOOJU: There wasn’t anything difficult, but we didn’t give any spoilers, so the fans were very curious and surprised by the final lineup announcement! It was fun to see fans like that, and it was the most fun when the song came out and we listened to it together.
Q. Which games do the members enjoy playing, or what K-dramas are the members watching lately?
SYA: I’ve been playing League of Legends these days. I don’t watch dramas, but I’ve been watching Exchange 4 on Netflix.
