Disney+’s original series The Manipulated dropped Episodes 9 and 10 on November 26th, and viewers are responding with explosive enthusiasm for its unpredictable twists and breathless action.

The thriller follows Tae Jung (Ji Chang Wook), an ordinary man whose life is derailed when he’s framed for a violent crime and ends up in prison—only to discover that everything was orchestrated by Yohan (Do Kyung Soo). Fueled by that revelation, he sets out on a brutal path of revenge. The newly released Episodes 9–10 deliver an even more heated collision among Tae Jung, Yohan, and the increasingly unhinged Do Kyung (Lee Kwang Soo), sending viewers into a cathartic frenzy.

With help from allies Yong Sik (Kim Jong Soo) and Eun Bi (Jo Yoon Su), Tae Jung tracks down Do Kyung’s location and heads to Busan. Confronting him face-to-face, Tae Jung issues a chilling final warning: “I’ll give you one last chance. It’s time to pay for what you’ve done.” The moment ratchets up the tension to its breaking point.

Watching everything from the shadows, Yohan calls Tae Jung—bruised and bloodied—and delivers an eerie proposition: “Let’s carve things up and have some fun. I think we’d make great partners.” As Tae Jung realizes that Yohan is the mastermind behind every thread, the series sets the stage for the true beginning of his revenge arc.

The episodes escalated the stakes with scorching plot developments and brutal action sequences, delivering yet another jolt of adrenaline that has viewers buzzing about what comes next.

Global audiences reacted passionately, writing: “The action scenes are so good you can’t stop watching,” “The acting pulls you right in—Ji Chang Wook’s desperation and Do Kyung Soo’s quietly chilling performance,” and “I started for the cast and stayed because the story is just that gripping.”

Episodes 1–10 of The Manipulated are now streaming exclusively on Disney+. Episodes 11 and 12 will premiere on December 3rd.
