Attorney Noh Young Hee has shared the private thoughts of former ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin, revealing Min’s reaction to NewJeans’ divided path back to the agency.

Appearing on YouTube channel “Maebul Show” on November 17th, Noh discussed the latest developments involving NewJeans and Min Hee Jin. Recently, members Haerin and Hyein announced their intention to return to ADOR, while Minji, Hanni, and Danielle conveyed their decision through a law firm rather than the agency itself.

On November 15th, Noh released Min Hee Jin’s official statement. In it, Min wrote, “NewJeans becomes complete only when all five are together. Now that they’ve returned, the five should be treated with care. Unnecessary conflict and speculation will not help.”

She continued, “The real issue is aimed at me, but the members should not be dragged into that. They must be protected, not used. NewJeans exists as five.”

Regarding this stance, attorney Noh explained, “After the court ruled on October 30th that the contracts were still valid, two members announced their return, and ADOR welcomed them. Min Hee Jin then released her statement, saying, ‘I hope the five can return as a complete group—I don’t want to block their future.’ After that, she learned the other three are also returning, and that’s why she said, ‘I must not stand in their way.'”

Noh added that Min was genuinely puzzled by the split response: “Min Hee Jin believed all five would go back. The ruling affirmed the exclusive contracts as valid, so returning seemed natural. She even congratulated them. So she questioned why ADOR created this structure of ‘3 versus 2,’ accepting some members and not others.”

Noh further noted, “She sent me that statement because she was worried the members might suffer disadvantages because of her,” explaining how she came to receive Min’s comments.
