Choi Woo Shik and Jung So Min have unveiled their personal favorite scene from SBS’s Friday–Saturday drama Would You Marry Me.
The series—centered on a pair who enter a 90-day fake newlywed contract to win a luxury newlywed home—has continued to break its own ratings records thanks to the leads’ chemistry, fast-paced storytelling, and addictive romantic tension.
Throughout its run, the drama delivered a string of viral moments: the surprise fake-marriage kiss in Episode 3, the staged affection in Episode 4, the iconic reed-field kiss in Episode 7, and the emotional reconciliation kiss in Episode 9—fueling viewers’ obsession week after week.
Among the many memorable scenes, the two leads have chosen the one that stands out most. Choi Woo Shik selected “the Episode 7 reed-field kiss” as the moment that lingers most strongly in his memory. Reflecting on filming, he shared, “I got to shoot such a lovely scene with Ma Ri in such a lovely place.” He added, “It came out even more heartwarming and beautiful than I imagined, so I was really satisfied. It’s also the moment when Woo Joo and Ma Ri’s emotions feel the most honest and pure, so it stayed with me.”
Jung So Min chose the same scene as her favorite. She explained that the Episode 7 kiss marks “a turning point where Woo Joo and Ma Ri’s long-connected bond since childhood begins a new chapter.” She added, “I especially loved the candid conversation where they let go of their burdens and misunderstandings,” calling it a scene that left a deep impression.
With just two episodes left before the finale, Would You Marry Me continues building anticipation. Episode 11 airs Friday, November 14th at 9:50 PM KST on SBS.
