IVE’s Jang Wonyoung has made a staggering real estate purchase at just 21 years old.
According to real estate and Supreme Court Registry reports on November 12th, the K-pop star purchased a luxury villa in Seoul’s prestigious Hannam neighborhood for 13.7 billion won ($10.1 million) last March.
The registry confirms that no mortgage was filed for the property, indicating the multi-million dollar transaction was paid entirely in cash.
The villa is located in Lucid House, a high-exclusivity complex in Hannam-dong’s famous UN Village. The complex, known for its stunning views of both the Han River and Namsan, contains only 15 units. The building is also famous for being the former home of superstar couple Rain and Kim Tae Hee before their marriage.
Jang Wonyoung is currently at the height of her fame with the group IVE. The group just kicked off their second world tour at Seoul’s KSPO DOME.
