HyunA has issued a heartfelt apology to her fans after she lost consciousness and collapsed on stage during her performance at Waterbomb 2025 Macau.
The singer took to her Instagram on November 9th to address the incident. “I’m really, really sorry,” she wrote. “It was only a short time since my last performance, but I wanted to show you my best. I feel like I was unprofessional, and honestly, I don’t remember anything about the collapse.”

She continued her apology, acknowledging the audience who paid for tickets. “I know many Macau fans were there, and of course, our A-ing (HyunA’s fandom). Everyone paid money to see that show, so I am sorry, and truly, so sorry. From now on, I will build up my stamina and keep working hard… I will make the effort.”
HyunA concluded by thanking her fans for their long-standing support and reassuring them about her health: “I wanted to say thank you for adoring, cherishing, and loving me, who has always been lacking, since I was very young. And I am really okay! Don’t worry about me! I hope everyone has a good night. Goodnight.”
The apology comes after fan-taken videos of the incident went viral, clearly showing HyunA fainting in the middle of her hit song “Bubble Pop!” before her dancers quickly rushed in to carry her off stage.

The incident has raised concerns about her health, as it follows a recent drastic diet. After her marriage to singer Yong Junhyung, HyunA faced pregnancy rumors due to some weight gain. She subsequently revealed on Instagram that she had lost 10 kg (about 22 lbs) in just one month, recently entering the 40kg (88-108 lbs) weight range.
