Former 2NE1 member Park Bom has sparked confusion and concern after posting on Instagram that she has filed a lawsuit against YG Entertainment’s founder, Yang Hyun Suk.
However, her own agency has since clarified that no such lawsuit has actually been filed and that the singer is currently on hiatus to focus on her mental health.
On October 22nd, Park Bom posted an image of a drafted complaint, writing, “Citizens, please investigate exactly what YG Entertainment did to Park Bom.” The document accused Yang of fraud and embezzlement for allegedly failing to pay her, claiming damages for the nonsensical sum of “64272e” trillion won.
The post left even her own team scrambling. “We cannot control Park Bom either,” a representative for the singer candidly told one media outlet, adding they were still trying to verify the details.
Her current agency, D-Nation Entertainment, later released a formal statement clarifying the situation. “The lawsuit posted on social media has never been officially filed,” the agency said, confirming that “all payments related to her 2NE1 activities have already been completed.”

The agency’s statement also confirmed that Park Bom has suspended all activities to focus on treatment and recovery, and concluded by saying, “We will do our best to support the artist in regaining her health.”
