Choi Woo Shik is putting any rumors of a rift in his famous “Wooga Squad” to rest. During a recent talk show appearance, the Parasite star addressed recent online speculation that the close-knit group of friends was having a falling out, explaining that the reality is much simpler: they’re all just incredibly busy.
The rumors began after BTS’s V recently posted a video of himself hanging out by the Han River with fellow squad members Park Seo Joon and Park Hyung Sik. The absence of the other two members, Choi Woo Shik and musician Peakboy, led some fans to worry about a potential feud.

But on the October 19th episode of the YouTube show Fairy Jaehyung, Choi Woo Shik laughed off the speculation. “My friends are all so busy, it’s really hard for us to meet up,” he explained. “Even if we want to, everyone has their own schedules, so we barely see each other.”
He added on a positive note, “The good thing is that everyone is doing really well in their own careers… These days, everyone is busy, so we don’t meet often, but we still keep in touch and look out for each other.”
The Wooga Squad is one of Korea’s most famous celebrity friend groups, consisting of actors Park Seo-joon, Park Hyung-sik, Choi Woo-shik, BTS’s V and musician Peakboy.
With Choi Woo Shik currently busy filming a new drama, his explanation that the Han River hangout was simply a spontaneous get-together for the members who were free seems to have put the rumors to rest.
