TVING’s upcoming original series Dear X stars Kim Yoo Jung in one of her boldest roles yet—an actress hiding demonic ambition beneath an angelic façade. The streamer released the main poster and trailer, teasing a story of dazzling downfall and dangerous love.
Dear X follows Baek Ah Jin (Kim Yoo Jung), a woman who wears a mask to climb from hell to the highest echelons of fame—and the cruel, tragic stories of the “X’s” she destroys along the way. The series captures both her descent into corruption and the doomed love of Yoon Jun Seo (Kim Young Dae), the man who chooses to walk through hell to protect her.
Adapted from a hit global webtoon of the same name, the suspense melodrama also stars Kim Do Hoon and Lee Yul Eum. The project is helmed by hitmakers Lee Eung Bok (Sweet Home, Mr. Sunshine, Goblin, Descendants of the Sun) and Park So Hyun.

The newly revealed poster shows Baek Ah Jin’s chilling gaze paired with the haunting tagline, “If life began in hell, wouldn’t it be better to become a monster?” The trailer deepens the tension, opening with glowing tributes from those who call her “perfect,” before flipping to a darker voiceover: “Those who really knew her tell a very different story.” A trembling voice recalls, “Baek Ah Jin… she was truly vicious.”
The clip teases a woman who changes masks at will, manipulating everyone around her, while Yoon Jun Seo reflects in anguish: “At the time, I thought everything I did was for her.” As Ah Jin’s manic laugh closes the trailer, she declares, “I’ll rise to the very top where no one can touch me.”
The series launches exclusively on TVING on November 6th.
