Lee Si Young has revealed that her second child will be a baby girl. The news was shared in a recent, lighthearted social media exchange with a friend.
Famous urologist Hong Sung Woo (known online as ‘Kkwachu Hyung’) commented on one of her posts, joking, “When is your belly going to show? Haha.” Lee Si Young replied, ” I’m already heavily pregnant!” He then wrote back, “Your princess will likely be incredibly healthy too since you are so healthy,” confirming for the first time that the baby is a girl.
Lee Si Young has been surprising fans with her incredibly active lifestyle throughout her pregnancy. She revealed she has only gained about 4 kg (approx. 9 lbs) despite maintaining a schedule that included motorcycling, running, hiking, and camping.
The pregnancy has been a major topic of discussion. Lee Si Young announced her separation from her husband of eight years this past March. Four months later, she candidly revealed that she chose to implant a frozen embryo from a past IVF procedure during the divorce process in July and is now expecting her second child.
She recently made a 100 million won ($74,000) donation to an association supporting single-parent families, a cause she has supported for years.
