Disney Plus has set November 5th as the global premiere date for The Manipulated, a hard-charging revenge thriller fronted by Ji Chang Wook and Do Kyung Soo. To mark the announcement, the streamer dropped a teaser poster spotlighting the combustible face-off between its two leads.

The drama follows Tae Jung (Ji Chang Wook), an ordinary man whose life unravels when he is falsely accused of a heinous crime and sent to prison. There, he discovers that every step of his downfall was orchestrated by Yohan (Do Kyung Soo). Determined to reclaim his life, Tae Jung embarks on a relentless path of vengeance.

The teaser art underscores the stakes—Ji’s Tae Jung hurling a fist of fury while Do’s Yohan blocks with almost a deranged laugh, teasing the psychological and physical warfare to come.

Ji brings the arc of a man reshaped by betrayal and revenge, while Do steps into his first full-blown villain turn as a calculating manipulator who carves up lives like clay. Rounding out the cast are Kim Jong Soo, Jo Yoon Su and Lee Kwang Soo, upping the dramatic firepower.

Speaking on the project, Ji said, “It’s a refreshing revenge drama with plenty of thrilling visuals. The unique action sequences will be a feast for the eyes.” Do echoed the excitement: “The script was so gripping. The pace, the action, even the racing scenes—I can’t wait to see them come alive on screen.”

With proven talent in front of and behind the camera, The Manipulated promises pulse-pounding survival action and a story that keeps viewers hooked until the last frame.

The series will debut with four episodes on November 5th, followed by two new episodes every week, for a total of 12 episodes—streaming exclusively on Disney Plus.
