Go Hyun Jung has drawn attention for quietly showing support to rookie idol Annie (Moon Seo Yoon), a member of the co-ed group ALLDAY PROJECT.
The actress recently tapped “like” on Annie’s fashion pictorial, posted by W Korea’s official Instagram account, a subtle gesture fans interpreted as encouragement.
Annie, born in 2002, is the eldest daughter of Shinsegae Group president Chung Yoo Kyung and granddaughter of Shinsegae chairwoman Lee Myung Hee. She is also the niece of Chung Yong Jin, vice chairman of Shinsegae—who was once married to Go Hyun Jung. The two wed in 1995 and divorced in 2003.
Go Hyun Jung first rose to fame after being crowned runner-up at the 1989 Miss Korea pageant, later becoming a household name through the hit drama Sandglass. Following her divorce, she successfully returned to the screen with Spring Day and went on to star in H.I.T., Queen Seondeok, The Queen’s Classroom, and most recently Netflix’s Mask Girl. She is currently appearing in SBS’s weekend thriller Queen Mantis.
Meanwhile, Annie made her debut this past June as part of ALLDAY PROJECT. The group quickly rose to prominence, topping digital charts with their double title tracks “Famous” and “Wicked,” earning Annie recognition as one of the most exciting rookie idols of the year.
