Han So Hee and Jeon Jong Seo, co-stars of the highly anticipated film Project Y, lit up the red carpet at the 50th Toronto International Film Festival. The two actresses, who became close friends while filming, stepped into the spotlight together as their movie made its world premiere.
On September 10th (local time), Han and Jeon arrived at TIFF as Project Y was officially invited to the Special Presentations section. The premiere screening and red carpet event quickly drew attention, thanks in part to the stars’ striking looks.
Han So Hee opted for a peach-toned gown with elegant draping details, paired with Boucheron diamond earrings and rings that added a touch of sparkle.
Jeon Jong Seo chose a white off-shoulder gown featuring intricate lace and a daring heart-shaped neckline, complemented by long lace gloves that completed her sophisticated ensemble.
Directed and written by Lee Hwan, Project Y follows Mi Seon (Han So Hee) and Do Kyung (Jeon Jong Seo), who, with nothing left but each other, get entangled in a dangerous plot to steal hidden cash and gold bars as they try to escape their harsh reality.
TIFF programmer Giovanna Fulvi praised the film, noting, “Han So Hee and Jeon Jong Seo create a magnetic intensity, blending adrenaline-fueled action with the scars of childhood trauma and the raw fight for survival,” calling the film one of the most anticipated Korean films of the year.
