DJ and entertainer Koo Jun Yeop, better known as DJ Koo, has reportedly been spending the past six months at the gravesite of his late wife, Taiwanese actress Barbie Hsu.
On September 5th, outlets including Sina Entertainment shared social media posts describing how Koo has been spotted at Chin Pao San Cemetery’s Rose Garden in Taiwan, where Hsu was laid to rest earlier this year.
One fan, who traveled from Los Angeles to visit Hsu’s grave, said they unexpectedly encountered Koo during an early morning visit around 7 AM. According to the account, he sat quietly in front of the tomb with an iPad in hand, carefully editing photos of Hsu. The fan noted that the gravesite was adorned not only with flowers but also with photos of the two together, a jar of honey, and sandwiches—items said to have been Hsu’s favorites during her lifetime.

When the fan grew emotional and accidentally shed tears onto the gravestone, Koo reassured them gently, saying “It’s okay,” before personally wiping the headstone clean. He then stepped aside and told the fan, “You can talk with her too,” displaying quiet thoughtfulness.
This is not the first such report. Witnesses claim that since Hsu’s burial in March, Koo has visited nearly every day, sitting for hours even in heavy rain. He has been seen looking through old photographs or watching Hsu’s hit drama Meteor Garden at the site.
DJ Koo and Barbie Hsu first dated in the late 1990s for two years before parting ways. Hsu later married Chinese businessman Wang Xiaofei in 2011, though the marriage ended in divorce in 2021. Soon after, Koo reconnected with Hsu, and the couple married in 2022.
