Fan voting for the 16th Korea Drama Awards is officially open. The organizing committee for the 2025 Korea Drama Festival (KDF) announced that fans can cast their votes for their favorite actors and shows from noon on August 28th until 11:59 PM on September 22nd KST.
This year’s awards will honor the best in television from the past year, with a total of 92 dramas from major broadcast networks, cable channels, and streaming platforms like Netflix and Disney Plus included in the nominations.
The nominees were selected by a panel of judges and the festival’s organizing committee. The final winners will be determined by a weighted score, with fan votes accounting for 10% of the final tally and the judging panel’s evaluation making up the remaining 90%.
Awards will be given out in seven main categories, including Best New Actor and Actress, Best Drama and the prestigious Top Excellence Awards for actors and actresses.
