The 30th Busan International Film Festival has unveiled the star-studded lineup for its popular Actors’ House program. The series of live talks, which features intimate conversations with some of Asia’s biggest stars, will welcome Lee Byung Hun, Son Ye Jin, Kazunari Ninomiya and Kim Yoo Jung this year.
Actors’ House is one of BIFF’s signature events, giving audiences a rare opportunity to hear A-list actors speak candidly about their craft, careers, and personal journeys.
The lineup includes the two leads of this year’s opening film, No Other Choice. Lee Byung Hun, one of South Korea’s most distinguished actors, will take the stage to discuss his versatile career. With a commanding presence in both Korean and Hollywood productions, his credits include the Netflix megahit Squid Game, G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, and acclaimed films such as Inside Men. He will share insights from his decades-long experience at the top of the industry.
Son Ye Jin, beloved for her captivating performances across all genres, will also participate in a candid conversation. From classic romances like The Classic and the global phenomenon Crash Landing on You to the historical drama The Last Princess, Son Ye Jin will offer a genuine look into her approach to acting, along with behind-the-scenes stories and her plans for the future.
Kazunari Ninomiya, a member of the iconic Japanese group Arashi and an acclaimed actor in his own right, will make an appearance as well. Known for his roles in Clint Eastwood’s Letters from Iwo Jima and the award-winning Nagasaki: Memories of My Son, he will appear at BIFF with his latest film, Exit 8. His talk will explore his artistic growth and celebrated career as both a singer and an actor.
Finally, Kim Yoo Jung, who has grown from a beloved child star into one of Korea’s leading actresses, will meet with audiences. With recent hits like 20th Century Girl and My Demon, and her highly anticipated new film Dear X set for release in November, she will share her passion and reflections on her lifelong journey in acting.
Actors’ House events are open to all festival attendees, with tickets priced at 15,000 KRW (approx. $11 USD). The schedule for ticket reservations will be available on the official BIFF website.
