Park Eun Bin and Yang Se Jong may be teaming up for the upcoming romantic comedy Spellbound (literal title).
On August 18th, Park’s agency Namoo Actors confirmed to Edaily, “It’s one of the projects she is currently reviewing.” Yang’s agency, Zion Entertainment, also told the outlet, “He has received an offer for the project and is in the stage of reviewing it.”
The drama Spellbound is a remake of the 2011 film of the same name, originally led by Son Ye Jin and Lee Min Ki. The new version will follow a hotel heiress who can see ghosts and a passionate prosecutor nicknamed the “investigation king,” as they dive into chaotic occult-themed joint cases—while romance sparks along the way.
Park Eun Bin has been offered the role of Jeon Yeo Ri, the wealthy heiress with the ability to see ghosts, while Yang Se Jong has been approached to play Ma Kang Wook, the prosecutor who falls for her.
Most recently, Park starred in Disney Plus’s Hyper Knife, released in April, where she played surgeon Jung Se Ok. Yang appeared in the Disney Plus series Low Life, portraying Oh Hee Dong, a role that left a strong impression with viewers.
