Song Ha Yoon is stepping up her legal battle against the individual who accused her of school bullying.
On August 18th, the actress’s legal team at Jium Law Firm announced, “Song Ha Yoon filed a second complaint on July 22nd against the informant, referred to as A, for defamation as well as obstruction of business by fraud.” The complaint also includes charges of intimidation.
This marks an escalation from her earlier complaint, which had already accused A of defamation and obstruction of business.
Her representatives stated at the time, “The police attempted to proceed with the investigation, but A refused to cooperate, claiming U.S. citizenship. In May, police issued an official summons and placed A on a wanted list. Song Ha Yoon is also considering additional legal measures within the U.S.”
The actress has firmly denied all allegations. “Song Ha Yoon never assaulted A,” her team stated, adding that they submitted multiple pieces of evidence, including school records, to prove she was never subjected to a forced transfer.
A, however, has pushed back. “I think this means she wants to see this through to the end,” he said. “It seems to me that she doesn’t have an ounce of remorse.”
A maintained his stance that he has never spread, fabricated or distorted false information, stating, “This is no different from the perpetrator suing the victim. If she had just apologized, I would not have made the exposé, but the one making the situation worse is Song Ha Yoon herself.”
A informed Xportsnews that he plans to enter South Korea soon to undergo police investigation. He previously revealed that he is a U.S. citizen and an overseas Korean legally residing in the United States. A firmly stated, “When I go to Korea, I will definitely file a lawsuit against Song Ha Yoon for false accusations.”
