Lee Jun Young made a charmingly candid appearance on JTBC’s variety show Dining Together (literal title).

On the July 17th episode, Lee Jun Young joined hosts Tak Jae Hoon and Kim Hee Sun as a guest, kicking off the conversation with a nod to his recent role in Weak Hero Class 2. Kim Hee Sun couldn’t help but praise him, saying, “I really enjoyed your performance,” as she brought up his character, Geum Seong Je.

Lee responded humbly, adding that when it comes to stunts, “I prefer doing the action scenes myself. It just feels more real that way.”

But the topic quickly turned to something a bit more personal—his love life. When Tak Jae Hoon asked about his romantic experience, Lee shyly admitted, “Honestly, I haven’t dated that much.” He added with a laugh, “You know how people on variety shows talk about getting hit on by fellow celebrities? That never happened to me. Not even once.”

Tak Jae Hoon teased him, saying, “Why don’t you make the first move then?”—prompting laughter all around.

When asked how he’d react if he were approached by a female celeb, Lee replied honestly, “I don’t think I’d have the courage. I’d probably just run. I’d be so flustered I wouldn’t know what to say.”

Kim Hee Sun chimed in, “Don’t guys get nervous when someone seems flirty? Isn’t it a little scary?” to which Tak Jae Hoon quipped, “It is scary. Very scary. But eventually you get used to it,” getting a laugh with his humor.

As for Lee Jun Young? “I don’t even know how to tell when someone’s being flirty,” he admitted. Tak Jae Hoon playfully accused him of being “way too innocent,” promising to buy him another coffee if he told the truth. True to his word, a second cup arrived moments later.

Pointing at the two cups, Tak joked, “So… where’s your girlfriend?” Lee could only laugh, shaking his head at the unexpected roast.
