Jay Chou posted several photos with G-Dragon on social media on July 14th. The two are seen enjoying wine together in a relaxed setting, with the caption: “Our common language is art and wine.” The post quickly caught attention online, sparking speculation about what the meeting could mean.
The two reportedly met right after G-Dragon wrapped up his solo world tour concert, Übermensch, which ran from July 11th to 13th at Taipei Arena.

ELLE TAIWAN posted the same day: “Is this hinting at the possibility of a future collaboration?” The question has only heightened fans’ anticipation.
According to local media, the two stars are indeed planning to release a collaborative single, though no official confirmation has been made yet.
Still, the idea isn’t far-fetched. G-Dragon and Jay Chou have long shown their close friendship. Jay Chou recently sent a congratulatory flower basket to G-Dragon’s concert, while G-Dragon gifted Jay a pair of sneakers from a sportswear collaboration he took part in. Earlier this year, G-Dragon also shared a photo with Jay Chou and actor Yim Si Wan on social media, drawing plenty of attention.
Both artists are iconic figures in their respective regions, G-Dragon in Korea and Jay Chou in the Mandarin-speaking world, and both have massive global followings. Whether or not they end up collaborating, fans are clearly eager to see what’s next.
Jay Chou maintains strong popularity in South Korea, largely due to the success of his film Secret. Meanwhile, G-Dragon is currently on his G-DRAGON 2025 WORLD TOUR, connecting with fans around the globe.
