Lee Si Young has clarified a major misunderstanding about the man often seen beside her on TikTok.
On June 23rd, Lee appeared as a guest on Shin Dong Yeob’s YouTube show “Zzanbro,” alongside actors Jung Sang Hoon and Kim Dasom. During the episode, the actress candidly addressed her recent divorce, drawing attention for her honesty and humor.
Aside from her acting work, Lee is also a popular TikTok creator with over 17 million followers. Many fans—especially international viewers—assumed the man who regularly plays her husband in couple skits was her actual spouse.
Host Jeong Ho Cheol brought it up directly, asking, “Don’t a lot of people mistake the guy with glasses in your TikToks as your husband?” Lee laughed and replied, “Tons of people do.”
She continued, “I got divorced not long ago, and people thought I divorced him. He told me, ‘I’ve never even been married, but now people think I’m a divorced guy!’ Apparently at every meeting, people keep asking him if he’s doing okay.”
Lee went on to explain that the man is actually the CEO of the studio behind her TikTok content. “He films with other celebs too, but because my channel blew up, people assumed he only worked with me,” she said. “He told me things have been rough lately—people keep offering condolences and walking on eggshells around him.”
The actress explained, “He’s not my husband—he’s the boss (of my studio). He recently said to me, ‘We’ve got to start filming even more. Everyone thinks the channel’s over because you got divorced!'”
Host Shin Dong Yeob chimed in, saying, “Then people must think you two are a ‘business couple’, like ‘they’re pros through and through.'” Hearing that, Lee burst out laughing. “Exactly! So we’re filming even more now,” she said.

Meanwhile, Lee married a restaurant entrepreneur in September 2017, but the couple finalized their divorce in March of this year after eight years of marriage. They share one son.
