Daniel Henney has opened up about his gratitude and longing for his beloved dog Roscoe.
In episode 2 of JTBC’s Do Anything You Want, Roscoe, aired on the 7th, viewers witnessed Daniel Henney cherishing precious moments with Roscoe, who had been diagnosed with T-Zone lymphoma.
A month after completing their road trip, Henney made a significant decision for Roscoe, whose condition had greatly improved. Roscoe was a rescue dog who had been separated from his previous owner and saved from a puppy mill before being adopted by the actor. He felt it was right to give Roscoe a chance to say goodbye to someone who had been part of his life, offering him time to meet his former owner.

Fast forward two and a half years since filming, and Henney revealed in a follow-up interview that Roscoe had peacefully crossed the rainbow bridge. He bravely battled illness, giving them more precious time together than the actor could have hoped for.
However, he also expressed regret for not being able to stay with Roscoe at the very end due to a sudden deterioration in his condition while he was away filming, and shed tears of longing as he recalled that final goodbye over a video call.
Do Anything You Want, Roscoe, which marks Daniel Henney’s directorial debut, is a documentary that explores life with a pet through a sincere, compassionate lens. “I’m so proud this documentary is finally out in the world,” he said. “I hope Roscoe’s story can bring comfort to anyone going through something similar with their pets.”
