As Miss A’s Min celebrated her wedding, Suzy‘s notable absence has reignited long-dormant speculation about alleged bullying and internal conflicts within the disbanded group.
Min tied the knot on the 7th at a Seoul venue with a non-celebrity businessman she’d been dating for seven years. The wedding was attended by Miss A members Fei and Jia, along with former JYP labelmates, including 2 AM and 2 PM’s Jang Woo Young and Ok Taecyeon, Wonder Girls’ Sun Ye, f(x) ‘s Amber, singers Brian, Kim Jae Joong, and more.
But among the crowd of familiar faces, Suzy was nowhere to be seen, bringing renewed attention to long-standing rumors of discord.
After the wedding, Fei posted a photo with bride Min and Jia, writing: “Congratulations to our Minyoung on your wedding~ Let’s be happy forever. Love you.” The image notably showed only three of the four original members together.
Jia also shared a heartfelt post on her account: “Jia, who also attended the wedding, shared photos on her social media with the caption: “So pretty~ so sexy~ so lovable~ total goddess! Huge congratulations on your wedding! So happy to see you glowing with happiness. Love you! Also felt so good seeing all the JYP fam again after so long. Wishing everyone happiness!”
Miss A debuted in July 2010 with “Bad Girl Good Girl” and produced numerous hits before announcing their disbandment in December 2017 after seven years together.
Throughout their run, fans often speculated about internal friction. Fans pointed to various incidents as “evidence,” including Suzy’s absence from Jia’s birthday party in 2015, members not following each other on social media, decreased sharing of group selfies compared to their debut days, and instances during music shows or interviews where Suzy appeared to maintain distance from the other three members.
The group began fragmenting in 2016 when Jia left, followed by Min not renewing her JYP contract in 2017. Though Fei and Suzy stayed on temporarily, both eventually parted ways with the agency—Fei in 2018 and Suzy in 2019.
