Jung Jun Won and model-actress Hyoni Kang have quickly shut down romance rumors that surfaced online this week.
On Tuesday, Jung Jun Won’s agency Alien Company told Star News, “He appeared with Hyoni Kang in the movie ‘Believer.’ She’s just one of his close friends.”
Hyoni Kang’s agency Kang Entertainment also denied the dating speculation, stating, “They have been longtime friends.”
The romance rumors began circulating on online communities, with netizens pointing to alleged evidence that the two stars had taken photos at the same locations and posted pictures wearing matching hats. However, both sides quickly dismissed the speculation.
Jung Jun Won recently won hearts with his performance in the just-concluded tvN drama Resident Playbook. Meanwhile, Hyoni Kang has built recognition through her appearances in films including Believer, Homme Fatale, and Believer 2, as well as the drama Partners for Justice 2.
