Following her divorce, Lee Si Young is back in the spotlight with a brand-new project—ENA’s upcoming Monday–Tuesday drama Salon de Holmes (literal title).
Salon de Holmes is a comic action series featuring four women who band together as neighborhood problem-solvers at Gwangsun Apartment Complex. The fearsome foursome includes a Sherlock-level crime solver, a former ace detective, an insurance sales champion, and the queen of part-time jobs as they deliver justice to the apartment’s villains.
The project unites director Min Jin Ki, who led the New Recruit series to success, with writer Kim Yeon Shin of The Secret of My Love. Adding to the buzz, SNL Korea‘s writer Ahn Yong Jin has also joined the creative team. The series promises an extraordinary display of female camaraderie through its powerhouse cast of Lee Si Young, Jung Young Ju, Kim Da Som, and Nam Kee Ae.
Lee Si Young will shine as Gong Mi Ri, the “Sherlock Holmes” of Gwangsun Apartment Complex. She possesses remarkable deductive abilities that don’t miss even the smallest details, promising viewers the satisfaction of watching her uncover crucial clues that deliver comeuppance to the complex’s troublemakers.
Jung Young Ju transforms into Choo Kyung Ja, nicknamed the “Female Ma Dong Seok.” Choo Kyung Ja was once an ace detective who retired from the police force after marrying her junior colleague No Gang Sik, but still remains a legendary figure in law enforcement.
Kim Da Som takes on the role of Park So Hee, the “Queen of Part-Time Jobs.” Despite being in her twenties, she impressively juggles five different jobs and serves as a gossip gatherer, collecting intel while zipping around the complex on her motorcycle.
Veteran actress Nam Kee Ae will captivate audiences as Jeon Ji Hyun, the owner of Gwangsun Supermarket, where all gossip converges. Ji Hyun, a former insurance sales champion, is known for her tenacity that never lets go of a target, making her essential in taking down the villains disrupting the apartment community.
Meanwhile, Salon de Holmes premieres Monday, June 16th at 10 PM KST.
