The upcoming horror film A Place to Kill (working title), already generating buzz with the announced casting of Kim Hye Yoon and Lee Jong Won, officially began filming on May 10th after finalizing its fresh seven-member ensemble that includes Kim Jun Han, Kim Young Sung, Oh Dong Min, Yoon Jae Chan, and Jang Da A.

Directed by Lee Sang Min, A Place to Kill follows a road-view mapping team sent to a remote reservoir to update footage after something mysterious appears in the imagery. Set in a location that’s both familiar and eerily unfamiliar, the horror flick promises an immersive, experience-driven thrill ride designed to keep audiences on edge.

Adding to the previously announced cast, Kim Jun Han takes on the role of Kyo Shik, Su In’s (Kim Hye Yoon) superior, elevating the film’s eerie tension. Meanwhile, Kim Young Sung and Oh Dong Min play brothers who run the road-view filming company. Kim Young Sung appears as Kyung Tae, a jaded veteran lost in routine, while Oh Dong Min transforms into Kyung Joon, a former Navy special rescue team member turned producer.

The project also marks the big-screen debut of rising stars Yoon Jae Chan and Jang Da A. Yoon Jae Chan plays Seong Bin, the youngest staffer following Su In to the site, while Jang Da A makes a genre-shifting turn as Se Jeong, who runs a horror-themed streaming channel.

With an ensemble that blends experience and fresh faces, director Lee Sang Min shared his excitement: “Meeting such excellent actors and staff makes every moment thrilling and dreamlike. I’ll do my best to create a film that offers a new experience that makes audiences glad they saw it in theaters.”
