Yulhee bravely opened up about the harsh judgment she faced after her divorce in a heartfelt moment on MBN’s Run to Live (literal translation).
In the upcoming second episode of MBN’s 30th anniversary special project, viewers will witness heartfelt conversations as the 16 cast members settle into their shared accommodations for the first time after a 5km marathon test in Gyeongbuk.
Among them are lawyer Yang So Young, anchor Son Jung Eun, and former idol Yulhee—three women who share a room and open up about their personal struggles. During their honest late-night talk, Son Jung Eun praised Yulhee, saying, “You’re amazing for not even crying through all this,” her eyes filled with emotion. Yulhee responded, “I went through a lot, but the hardest part was being labeled as ‘the mother who abandoned her children.’” Her words shed light on the pain she endured due to harsh public judgment following her divorce.
The show follows a group of people, each carrying their own wounds and worries, as they come together to take on the challenge of completing a full marathon. On their first night together, emotional barriers break down, but they face a grueling group training session that pushes them to their limits the next day.
What kind of intense team workout awaits these aspiring marathoners? Find out in episode 2 of Run to Live, airing Saturday, April 26, at 8:20 PM KST on MBN.
