With just two days to go until the premiere of Weak Hero Class 2, Netflix is already seeing a surge in global buzz—thanks to the late but powerful arrival of Class 1 on the platform.
Weak Hero Class 2 follows honor student Yeon Si Eun, who transfers to Eunjang High School burdened by the trauma of failing to protect his friends. Determined never to let history repeat itself, he’s forced into even more brutal violence as he fights to survive—and to protect what matters most.
Since its debut on Netflix on March 25th, Weak Hero Class 1 has quickly climbed the charts. It entered the Global TOP 10 (Non-English) TV list for four consecutive weeks and secured a spot in the TOP 10 across 70 countries.
Adapted from the popular Naver webtoon, the gritty school action series gained praise for its compelling performances by rising stars Park Ji Hoon, Choi Hyun Wook, and Hong Kyung, as well as its thrilling execution of the genre.
Now all eyes are on the upcoming Class 2, set to premiere on Netflix worldwide this Friday, April 25th. Outlets like TIME and Marie Claire called it “one of the best Korean dramas,” fueling anticipation for Class 2.
