Recently, Park Hyung Sik successfully wrapped up the popular SBS weekend drama Buried Hearts. The drama was met with success, and Park Hyung Sik revealed a little more of his tender side in an interview with GQ Korea.

On April 21st a video titled, “The man who became a treasure while filming Buried Hearts” was uploaded to the GQ Korea YouTube channel. In the interview, light hearted questions were asked and a look into Park Hyung Sik’s personal life was revealed alongside his surprisingly cutesy personality.

Park Hyung Sik revealed he is currently resting and stated, “After finishing Buried Hearts and the last fan meeting, I’m resting a bit. Rolling around in bed.” When asked what he likes to do after filming and when resting, he replied, “I really like traveling. Normally, I like resting in bed the most but I also thought about going on a trip for rest after finishing a project too.”

Park Hyung Sik discussed his favorite way to relax, and his answers felt so relatable and charmed fans right away. “After finishing work in the evening, I come home and have a light meal and a beer while watching a movie or drama. That’s my only pleasure. I’m not really good at drinking, but just one can of beer tastes great. That one can of beer makes me feel really good and happy.”

Park Hyung Sik also answered other simple questions such as his favorite seasons, favorite house items and what he is watching lately. Park responded saying, “I enjoy a season where you can go anywhere comfortably without being too cold or hot. However, I personally feel very saddened that spring and fall are seemingly getting shorter in Korea. My favorite item is my beam projector in front of my bed. I recently enjoyed watching Netflix’s Foolish and the movie Venom: The Last Dance while on my bed.”

When asked what he loves the most in his life, Park Hyung Sik gave a warm-hearted replay saying, “My family, friends, and colleagues.” He further explained, “Actually, when I’m with the people I love, I don’t really need anything more. I feel the most comfortable when we are together and I think I feel very happy from the moment I get together and have a drink and chat with people I care for.”

On the other hand, when asked about his adorable aegyo, Park Hyung Sik said, “I’m the type that expresses affection a lot and I’m also the youngest in my family, so I do have a bit of aegyo,” and “Rather than doing aegyo, I’m just living like the youngest son would– I throw tantrums and complain that life is hard.”

Park Hyung Sik also shared some funny stories, saying, “I went to an event a while ago and a lot of men asked me to take pictures with them first. They said they were really enjoying watching Buried Hearts. It really touched me. Men usually don’t ask to take pictures with me. I felt even more grateful because I felt that they were enjoying the drama so much.”

Last but not least, anyone in love with Park Hyung Sik truly awaited the answer to this heart-racing question. When asked to define love, Park Hyung Sik said, “Love is something that we absolutely need. I think that the world would be difficult if there was no love in this fierce and harsh world, and I think that if we lived in a world where we love each other more, it would be a world filled with more respect and consideration.”
