Virus has confirmed its release date and unveiled its first look teasers.
With a star-studded cast including Bae Doona, Kim Yoon Seok, Chang Kiha, and a special appearance by Son Suk Ku, the highly anticipated film Virus is set to hit theaters on May 7th.
The movie tells the story of Taek Seon, who becomes infected with a 100% fatal virus that makes him fall in love for no reason. Alongside him are three men: the single researcher Su Pil, his old schoolmate Yeon Woo and the genius doctor Yi Gyun. The first poster showcases the four characters with a warning tag for the “Toxo Virus.”
The first trailer reveals Taek Seon, a translator whose emotional capacity seems drained, suddenly feeling inexplicably excited and happy. Yeon Woo, his elementary school friend, immediately notices something’s off, while Yi Gyun begins his search for Taek Seon, and Su Pil also pursues her with determination. Eventually, Yi Gyun discovers that these changes are due to the “Toxo Virus,” which causes the infected to fall in love. The dialogue between Taek Seon, who possesses ‘super antibodies,’ and Yi Gyun, the only one who can develop a cure, raises curiosity about the unexpected journey ahead.
Virus will be released in theaters on May 7th.
