In a delightful moment caught on camera, heartthrob Park Bo Gum playfully shielded IU‘s eyes when their lip-lock from Netflix’s When Life Gives You Tangerines flashed across the screen.
On the 9th, Netflix Korea uploaded a reaction video where the stars of the series When Life Gives You Tangerines, IU and Park Bo Gum, watched Part 1 together.
Commenting on a scene where Gwan Sik wipes off Ae Soon’s blue eyeshadow, Park Bo Gum explained, “‘Why did she put this blue stuff on her eyes when it doesn’t suit her?’ That’s what he was thinking.” IU added, “Gwan Sik is someone who truly loves Ae Soon for who she is, and since it’s makeup that makes her look different, he’s trying to bring her back to her natural self. He’s trying to wipe it off even if he has to use his saliva.”
She continued, “I think even in that brief moment, it shows how much Gwan Sik loves Ae Soon.” Park Bo Gum chimed in, “Protecting, guarding, supporting, backing, encouraging, and cheering on.”
Additionally, IU was startled when their kiss scene appeared, exclaiming “They kissed!” Park Bo Gum immediately covered IU’s eyes with his hand, giving a laugh.
Finally, Park Bo Gum said, “There are many more diverse and fun stories coming up,” adding, “The other cast members really boost our energy, and since all the characters are so vibrant, there’s a lot to see and enjoy, so please stay with us until the end.” IU also confidently stated, “We really worked hard. We gave it our all and did our best,” adding, “It turned out fun and good.”
