Squid Game 2 actress Won Ji An is set to play Park Seo Joon‘s first love in JTBC’s upcoming series Waiting for Gyeong Do (literal title).
The upcoming rom-com follows the story of Lee Gyeong Do and Seo Ji Woo, who dated twice—at age 20 and 28—before separating, only to reunite years later as a scandal-breaking journalist and the wife of a scandal’s subject. Their reconnection promises to deliver both heart-wrenching and deeply emotional romantic moments.
The project brings together director Im Hyun Wook of King the Land and writer Yoo Young Ah, known for the film On Your Wedding Day and the series Thirty-Nine. The drama marks Park Seo Joon’s highly anticipated return to television, with Won Ji An securing the female lead after much speculation.
Won Ji An takes on the role of Seo Ji Woo, Lee Gyeong Do’s (Park Seo Joon) first love.
