Korean supernatural thriller Dark Nuns continues its box office dominance across Asia, garnering critical acclaim and impressive numbers in multiple regions.
The film, which follows a group of people who undertake a forbidden ritual to save a boy possessed by a powerful evil spirit, has surpassed 1 million admissions in Indonesia while maintaining its number one position at the Philippines box office for two consecutive weeks.
International media praise has been equally impressive. Indonesian outlet Kompas lauded the film for “presenting a fresh direction in the occult genre through its distinctive premise, delivering a powerful narrative. Particularly, the chemistry between Song Hye Kyo and Jeon Yeo Been enhances the psychological depth of their characters.”
