Netflix has unveiled seven new films set to be released in 2025, spanning genres including thriller, action, romantic comedy, sci-fi, animation, and drama.
Revelations

Release: 1st quarter
Story: Revelation tells the story of a pastor who believes it is God’s will to punish the perpetrator of a missing person case and a detective haunted by visions of his deceased brother while investigating the case. Director Yeon Sang Ho once again explores the ambiguous boundaries between religion and humanity, faith and conviction, and good and evil. Ryu Jun Yeol stars as Min Chan, a pastor who follows what he believes to be God’s will. One day, he receives a divine revelation that Yang Rae, a man who arrives at his church, is the culprit behind his son’s kidnapping. Shin Hyun Bin portrays Yeon Hee, a detective who tracks both Yang Rae and Min Chan, believing they may be connected to the missing person case. Alfonso Cuarón serves as the Executive Producer of Revelation.
Lost in Starlight

Story: Lost in Starlight is an animated film that tells the story of astronaut Nan Yeong and musician Jay, whose love spans the greatest distance in the world. Kim Tae Ri makes her voice acting debut as Nan Yeong, an astronaut selected for the fourth Mars exploration project in 2050. She dreams of traveling to Mars to search for traces of her mother, a scientist who failed to return to Earth after an accident. Jay, a musician who also repairs audio equipment, meets Nan Yeong by chance. Later, fate brings them together again through her late mother’s turntable, and their love begins to blossom.
Wall to Wall

Story: Wall to Wall is a thriller about Woo Sung (Kang Ha Neul), who finally achieves his dream of homeownership but soon finds himself tormented by an unidentified noise between floors. Kang Ha Neul plays Woo Sung, a man in his 30s who scrapes together his savings, stock investments, loans, and even the proceeds from selling his mother’s garlic field to buy his own apartment. However, he struggles to keep up with his mortgage payments with soaring interest rates. Yeom Hye Ran plays Eun Hwa, the head of the residents’ association, who is determined to protect the apartment. Seo Hyun Woo plays Jin Ho, Woo Sung’s upstairs neighbor, who teams up with him to track down the source of the mysterious noise.
Love Untangled

Story: Love Untangled is a coming-of-age romance set in 1998, following 19-year-old Park Se Ri (Shin Eun Soo) as she prepares for the biggest confession of her life. Determined to overcome her lifelong insecurity—her unruly curly hair—she devises a plan to straighten it. However, things take an unexpected turn when she crosses paths with Han Yoon Seok (Gong Myung), a new transfer student. With a cast featuring Gong Myung, Shin Eun Soo, Cha Woo Min, Yoon Sang Hyun, and Kang Mi Na, this youthful romance is drawing attention for bringing together some of the most promising rising stars.

Story: Mantis is an action film that follows top-tier assassin Mantis (Yim Si Wan), who returns from an extended hiatus to a hitman industry where all the old rules have collapsed. He finds himself in a fierce battle for the number one spot against his former trainee rival, Jae Yi (Park Gyu Young), and retired legendary killer Dok Go (Jo Woo Jin). The film is a spin-off set in the same assassin universe as Kill Boksoon, with Kill Boksoon director Byun Sung Hyun directly contributing to the screenplay.
Good News

Story: Good News is a film set in the 1970s, revolving around a mysterious operation carried out by a group of people determined to land a hijacked plane by any means necessary. This marks the second collaboration between director Byun Sung Hyun and Netflix. Sul Kyung Gu, who has worked with Byun from The Merciless to Kill Boksoon, teams up with him for the fourth time. Sul plays a fixer—an enigmatic figure who appears whenever needed to resolve crises, showcasing yet another transformation in his acting. Rising star Hong Kyung takes on the role of an Air Force lieutenant assigned to the covert operation. Meanwhile, Ryoo Seung Bum plays a high-ranking government official who controls the entire mission.
The Great Flood

Kim Da Mi plays Anna, an AI researcher struggling to survive amid the massive tidal waves. Park Hae Soo takes on the role of Hee Jo, a security forces agent on a mission to rescue Anna.
