The opening event for ATO; A Beautiful Gift Collection Exhibition – in NEW YORK, featuring actress Kim Hee Seon in her role as content director alongside prominent figures in contemporary Korean art, concluded successfully.

H Art ENT. announced yesterday, “On the 10th, we held the opening event for ATO; A Beautiful Gift Collection Exhibition – in NEW YORK at Gallery AP Space in New York’s Chelsea Arts District,” sharing photos from the event that captured significant attention.

Last September, Kim Hee Seon celebrated her 30th anniversary in the entertainment industry by launching her first art project as a content director, titled ATO; A Beautiful Gift. In this role, she directed the exhibition, showcasing over 130 works from six esteemed South Korean artists: Kang Hyung Koo, Kim Kang Yong, Park Seo Bo, Park Seok Won, Lee Ufan, and Lee Lee Nam, with each featured in a dedicated large exhibition space. This initiative successfully attracted approximately 35,000 visitors, offering them memorable experiences.

Kim Hee Seon participated as a content director, along with artists Kang Hyung Koo and Lee Lee Nam. Notable attendees included legendary American photographer Christopher Makos, surrealist sculptor Carole Feurman, LH Museum director Dianna Benson, New York Times critic Andrew Russeth, Artsy president Dustyn Kim, and Woodstock Festival founder Joel Rosenman. The presence of various artists, art enthusiasts, museum representatives, and art foundation officials from New York further enhanced the vibrant atmosphere of the occasion.

During the event, artist Kang Hyung Koo showcased his creative process through a live painting demonstration, providing attendees with a captivating visual experience. Meanwhile, Lee Lee Nam presented media art that fused modern technology with traditional artistry, highlighting the depth and diversity of contemporary Korean art.

Kim Hee Seon expressed her hope that this exhibition would elevate the recognition of Korean contemporary art on a global scale, emphasizing its limitless potential.

The second exhibition titled ATO; A Beautiful Gift Collection Exhibition – in NEW YORK, featuring content director Kim Hee Seon once again, is co-hosted at Gallery AP Space in New York’s Chelsea arts district and will run from October 10 to November 23rd.
