The reports surrounding BTS Suga’s DUI are never-ending as the famous BTS member was seen entering and exiting the Yongsan Police station on Friday night.
After three hours of questioning at the police station, 31-year-old Min Yoon Gi entered the police station on August 23rd at 7:45 PM KST. After news of him driving an electric scooter while drunk and falling in front of the police (and having the highest blood alcohol concentration level an idol ever recorded at 0.227%) was released on August 6th, the internationally famous artist appeared sullen in his black suit and merely bowed his head and apologized to the cameras flashing before him. His bright and bubbly appearance now darkened and filled with remorse. Videos of his investigation like the one below are trending online.
“I am truly sorry for the big disappointment I have become to many people and our fans. I will faithfully and thoroughly cooperate with the investigation. Again, I am truly sorry.” When asked about his blood alcohol content and the mixed apologies issued by HYBE that tried to downplay the incident by saying he was on a kickboard, he remained silent and began the investigation.
Suga was released around 11PM after three hours of investigations. Suga admitted to the charges and left the station apologizing once more saying, “I want to say that I am so sorry for causing so much hurt and disappointment with my wrong actions. I am deeply reflecting and regretting this and I will make sure that this never happens again.” Suga is at risk of having his driver’s license revoked or paying fines as large as 10,000,000 KRW (roughly $8,000 USD).

Although Suga’s music is still charting and finding success internationally, Korean ARMY (fans of BTS) find themselves at an impasse as they have sent trucks to boycott the member outside of HYBE and even requesting his removal from the group with signs saying “You let us go first,” and “Army only need 6 not 7,” referencing to the other six members. It seems Suga’s reputation is more at risk than anything.
Suga is still currently fulfilling his alternative mandatory military service as a social service agent, allowing him free reign to return home after work hours and move off base since March. The BTS member is scheduled to complete his service in June of next year. Stay tuned for more updates regarding his investigation and DUI case.

We never said that we want 6 instead of 7!!! BTS is 7 not 6!!! Suga will stay in BTS and that’s final!!!!
Stop giving false information,ARMY never said for removing him and having 6. BTS is seven and always be Seven. And ARMY didn’t send any trucks just research first.
