Jung Yun Ha, known for her captivating role in Exhuma, shared some heartbreaking news with fans today. In a social media post, she revealed that her cancer has returned.
Taking to Instagram, the actress wrote, “A year and three months ago, I was diagnosed with cancer and received surgery. Just one year later, the doctor told me that the cancer has relapsed.”
Jung Yun Ha continued, “Today, I’m back from the hospital after having my tissue re-examined. The initial and follow-up results weren’t good. Honestly, I have more thoughts than I did on that day a year ago.”
She also posted a photo of herself wearing a patient’s gown and explained the reason for revealing her cancer battle. She shared, “I’m not going through this alone. I want to do something rather than suffer and struggle in silence.”
She said, “Please understand that I might be quiet for a while. I just don’t have the energy to constantly project positivity or hide my emotions,” and emphasized, “Everyone, please stay healthy and be safe.”
Jung Yun Ha, a former Miss Korea who began acting in earnest in 2015, played the role of Park Ji Yong’s wife in Exhuma. She also appeared as Madam Park in 12.12: The Day, another movie that broke the 10 million mark with 13.12 million viewers.
